There are many online seminars given each year on the Global Education Conference. This link from the 2015 Global Ed Con is useful for communicating with other global classrooms Skype. It's called,
"Taking Mystery Skype to the Next Level".
You may have to ask you Network Administrator for permission to use Skype for this kind of activity.
My classes have successfully communicated with a school in China via Padlet.com
It may take some time and experimentation to find a class that's right to collaborate with but they are out there!
